This year’s rankings were based on a survey of more than 11,400 accounting professionals who were asked to rank their firms in various workplace categories, such as culture, compensation, hours and work/life balance, and compared to peer firms in terms of prestige. Vault also took special note of how firms responded to the events of 2020, including the COVID-19 pandemic.
