Aprio Expands New York Office with Tax, Audit Partners – Jason Drucker and Matthew Muscarnera

NEW YORK— April 8, 2024—Aprio, LLP, continues its rapid growth with the addition of two partners in its New York office Jason Drucker joins as a Tax Partner, Manufacturing and Distribution Industry, while Matthew Muscarnera joins as an Audit Partner, Financial Services Industry. Since January, Aprio has welcomed seven lateral partners to the firm.

Matthew Muscarnera brings over three decades of experience in public accounting, and more than 20 years of experience in the financial services sector, including providing assurance and audit services to a diverse range of entities, including hedge funds, private equity funds, registered investment advisors and broker-dealers. Prior to joining Aprio, he served as the go-to-market leader for a large national accounting and advisory firm’s capital markets team and was responsible for driving audit practice growth and consulting services within the broker-dealer market.

Matthew earned his B.S. in Accounting from York College of Pennsylvania. He is a CPA and an active member of the New York State Society of CPAs, participating in committees such as the Stockbrokerage Committee, Investment Management Committee and the Digital Assets Committee.

Jason Drucker is a seasoned tax professional with over a decade of experience guiding businesses through complex tax planning and compliance matters. Jason’s experience spans multiple industries, including manufacturing and distribution, property management, healthcare and professional services. Prior to joining Aprio, Jason spent nine years at a national advisory and accounting firm, where he honed his skills in tax strategy development and implementation.

Jason earned a bachelor’s degree from Bentley University and a master’s degree in tax from Northeastern University. He holds an active CPA license in New York and is a member of the Middle Market Alliance of Long Island (MMALI), Hauppauge Industrial Association of Long Island (HIA-LI) and Edge Networking Group
