Overview
Aaron Myers leads strategic growth and M&A engagements for Aprio with companies and private equity investors who are active in the aerospace, defense, and government services markets. He has more than 15 years of experience leading over 300 consulting assignments, including over 200 M&A-related engagements.
Experience
Aaron began his career as a defense contractor supporting counterproliferation and missile defense projects. During that time, he also engaged in deal sourcing, execution, and monitoring for a World Bank-backed private equity fund in Central Africa. Later, he transitioned into providing strategic consulting and market-based M&A due diligence support for companies and private equity funds active in the National Security market space.
Aaron has worked alongside former senior U.S. national security leaders, investors, and consultants, leveraging deep analytical research and insights from a broad network of experienced government and industry professionals. He has supported more than 70 M&A engagements annually, helping clients gain a competitive edge in the aerospace, defense, and government services markets.
Education & Affiliations
Aaron graduated from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service where he received a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service with a concentration in International Security Studies.
