Overview
Alec has over 15 years of progressive experience leading complex assurance* and advisory services for clients in high-profile industries. He is a Financial Services Assurance Partner at Aprio, focusing on delivering high-quality audits and consulting services. Alec will expand the firm’s offerings in banking, and capital markets, asset and wealth management and consumer lending. He looks forward to building relationships and serving companies across the financial services industry—ranging from established organizations to high-growth businesses—throughout the North Texas market.
Experience
Alec has deep experience with large multinational organizations with local presence and regional lending organizations across Texas and neighboring states. He has worked with public and private clients in banking and capital markets, asset and wealth management, venture capital and consumer lending. Alec has extensive experience with SOX controls assessments and testing and has also supported successful large and complex system and technology implementations, including ERPs, origination systems, and other financial reporting systems in an advisory capacity.
Education & Affiliations
Alec earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance and a Master’s in Accountancy from Abilene Christian University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Texas, a Treasurer at Shared Housing Center, a not-for-profit in Dallas, and a Texas AICPA Member.
