Brenda specializes in performing tax planning and structuring for international businesses and high-net-worth individuals. She provides leadership and aid to medium and large companies with foreign ownership or foreign subsidiaries looking to enter the U.S. or expand operations internationally.
Experience
Brenda focuses on helping her clients understand how to resolve compliance issues and determine the most advantageous tax structure for their business. She helps her clients navigate the complexities of multiple tax jurisdictions and pursue what is most important to them through personal and corporate tax, gift, and estate planning. In addition to her work with clients, Brenda is the head of Aprio’s West Coast Tax team, where she manages hiring and provides support to a team of 30 tax professionals.
Education & Affiliations
Brenda earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh and a Master’s in Taxation from Golden Gate University. She is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California State Board of Accountancy.
