Additionally, Brett played a pivotal role in Aprio’s expansion into the Midwest, guiding clients through audit and assurance with a focus on industries such as construction, manufacturing, and benefit plans.
Experience
Before joining Aprio, Brett advanced through the ranks at Mize CPAs—from Staff Auditor to Audit Director—where he led audit and assurance services, acting as the primary point of contact for clients, firm leadership, and internal teams. He also specializes in complex construction and benefit plan audits, building strong relationships and delivering tailored, compliant financial solutions that enhance accuracy and strategic insight.

Education & Affiliations
Brett earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree from the University of Central Missouri. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
