Experience
Throughout her career, Caitlin has built a reputation for being a transparent communicator and a reliable business partner. She works with internal and external stakeholders to align financial operations with strategic goals and is committed to helping clients navigate change with confidence. Her specialties include system selection and implementation, chart of accounts redesign, and financial analysis and reporting.
Prior to joining Aprio, Caitlin held senior roles at the National Geographic Society, where she led accounting and finance teams through two major mergers and acquisitions, system implementations, and policy realignments. She began her career as an external auditor at a Big Four accounting firm and later joined OCS, where she managed system implementations, developed incurred cost analyses, and supported clients with budgeting and audit preparation.
Education & Affiliations
Caitlin earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Elon University in North Carolina. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Virginia. Caitlin is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
