As a Tax Partner at Aprio, Chris primarily provides financial, accounting, and tax solutions to small businesses across a variety of industries, but mostly in the health club space. He focuses on helping his clients navigate the financial and tax complexities of selling their businesses and recasting their financials to maximize value.
Experience
Powered by his deep industry experience and subject matter expertise, Chris specializes in helping business owners manage complex payroll, fixed asset requirements, large capital expenditures, and cash-to-1099 employee transitions. Many of Chris’s clients come to him seeking help with managing their internal accounting functions, streamlining their accounts payable (AP) processes, and monetizing the value of their businesses over the long term — particularly in advance of a potential sale.
Education & Affiliations
Chris earned his Master of Science (M.S.T.) in Taxation from DePaul University and his Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree from the University of Missouri. He is a member of the AICPA and has served as treasurer for several baseball clubs and leagues in his community.
