Chris works closely with owners, CEOs, CFOs, and finance and accounting managers of organizations within the manufacturing and distribution industry. He has depth of experience working with small to medium sized companies and clients with revenues ranging from $5 million to $500 million, many of whom specialize in the chemical products, trucking and flooring sectors of the industry.
Experience
Passionate about proactive tax planning and forecasting, Chris advances the business goals for his manufacturing clients and advise them on various tax matters, such as R&D tax credits, sales and use tax, and general accounting. He works collaboratively with Aprio’s specialty teams to increase his clients’ bottom line by identifying opportunities for operational improvement to develop efficiencies that can be implemented throughout their organization. Chris’s specialties include corporate tax, understanding and leveraging tax credits, maximizing deductions through tax planning, and assisting clients with compliance risks for state and local tax jurisdictions.
Education & Affiliations
Chris received his Master of Accountancy from Kennesaw State University and earned his Bachelor of Arts from Georgia Southern University in Economics. He is also a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs.
