Chad Stafford is a partner in Aprio’s Mount Airy office in North Carolina. He brings over 20 years of accounting and tax expertise to the firm. Chad has extensive experience in tax planning, preparation and research, financial reporting, GAAP, and internal controls, as well as budgeting and forecasting.
Experience
Chad works closely with Aprio tax team partners, associates and clients to find innovative solutions to complex business and tax challenges. He utilizes his expertise in QuickBooks to help clients implement accounting best practices that improve internal accounting accuracy and streamline financial reporting.
Before joining the Aprio team, Chad was a partner at LBA Haynes Strand.
Education & Affiliations
An alumni of Appalachian State University, Chad earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & Accounting, and a Master of Science in Accounting from the institution.
Chad’s professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.
