Fred Davis is a Partner, Tax Services at Aprio. He works with a variety of clients, from high net worth individuals to private equity firms, financial services entities, and not-for-profit organizations.

Experience

Fred brings a wealth of experience and an exceptional track record in working with a variety of entities, particularly nonprofits, and high net worth individuals. Fred values enjoying life and prioritizing fun just as much as work, and brings that same attitude to each of his engagements. Fred hopes that by making tax engagements seamless for his clients, they are able to rest easy knowing their best interest is always at the forefront of his work.

Education & Affiliations

Fred earned a BBA in Accounting from Hofstra University, an MS in Taxation from LIU CW Post, and a JD from Rutgers Law School. He is a CPA and serves on the AICPA tax management committee, and is a member of the corporate advisory board for the National Association of Black Accountants. Fred is very involved in alumni activities at his alma mater including serving on the Hofstra University Board of Trustees. Highly involved in his community, Fred is the treasurer of One Hundred Black Men of New York, and serves as advisor to the Junior One Hundred chapter at Rutgers University. He is president of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc’s Alpha Alpha Lambda chapter, based in Newark, NJ, where he is engaged with his community through the Young Kingz Program, which allows he and his brothers to mentor middle school men of color. He also sits on the board of Uniquely Me Creative Arts whose mission is to improve sensory processing disorder for special needs children through sensory-focused creative arts activities. When he is not working or volunteering, Fred enjoys golfing and spending time with his two grown sons, who are both successful attorneys in New York. Meeting them for lunch in the city is a pastime he does not take for granted!
