Giselle has more than 30 years of experience providing accounting, audit,* and consulting services to a variety of businesses, with a strong focus on the restaurant, franchise, food distribution, and manufacturing industries.
Experience
Giselle has deep technical accounting expertise in areas that routinely impact franchisors, franchisees, and independent concepts. She has experience guiding clients through business combinations, revenue recognition and impairment, and internal control and financial reporting issues that are specific to the restaurant industry. This allows her to provide Aprio’s clients with effective and efficient assurance services coupled with value-added consulting and recommendations. Giselle also speaks at restaurant-specific industry conferences and leads training sessions for other professionals in Aprio’s internal restaurant, franchise, and hospitality practice.
Education & Affiliations
Giselle earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from John Carroll University. She is a licensed certified public accountant (CPA), and her professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA).
