Overview
Jeff Ward is a Partner in Aprio’s Information Assurance Services group, working with companies across various industries to share his extensive knowledge of SOC, WebTrust for Certification Authorities, FedRAMP, CMMC, and other Risk Advisory services. He created the WebTrust for Certification Authorities service and regularly collaborates with companies to implement this service. Jeff specializes in securing transactions for his clients and implementing scalable solutions that help drive operational excellence, mitigate regulatory and operational risks, and identify growth opportunities.
Experience
Jeff’s deep knowledge of information assurance services comes from his decades-long career handling third party attestation, risk advisory, and cyber/IT assessments. His professional experience includes providing assurance and audit-related* services for clients in various industries, from software companies and large government agencies to financial institutions and application service providers.
Jeff takes pride in maintaining strong client relationships throughout their engagements, emphasizing communication and transparency. He is passionate about client service, training, mentoring, and building high-performance teams.
Education & Affiliations
Jeff holds a BSBA in Accounting from Southeast Missouri State University and is a Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Global Management Accountant, Certified Information Systems Auditor, and Certified Information Systems Security Professional. He has written standards for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has served as the Chairman of the WebTrust Task Force.
