Kayla is the Mid-Atlantic Regional Leader and Partner at Aprio’s Assurance* Services practice. She embodies “passionate for what’s next” through her desire to make a difference in people’s lives. Kayla enjoys being the go-to person for her clients’ needs. She is a connector, confidant cheerleader, and sound business advisor, going above and beyond to help clients achieve their goals.
Experience
Kayla has over 19 years of experience serving government contractors and business owners throughout their lifecycles. Before stepping into her role as Mid-Atlantic Regional Leader, she previously served as the Lead Assurance Partner in the Government Contracting Practice and as a partner in the Employee Benefits Assurance Practice. Kayla’s experience within those two practices has given her a strong background in incentive compensation and employee benefit plans, indirect rate structuring, and M&A activities.
She also provides business lifecycle planning, advising clients on how to best maximize their business profitability through all phases of business operations. With a strong presence in the government contracting community, Kayla consistently finds exceptional individuals for her clients to connect with, and she takes pride in being the go-to resource for entrepreneurs embarking on their journey from startup to successful exit.
Education & Affiliations
Kayla earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Professional Accountancy from West Virginia University and is a Maryland CPA. She is currently serving as the ACG President and Board Member of ACG, as well as a member of the Northern Virginia Chamber Board, LINKBank Foundation Board, and the Leadership Greater Washington 2026 Signature Program Class.
