With over 27 years of experience, Kerry advises closely held and family-owned businesses, primarily in the manufacturing and distribution industries, on a wide range of tax matters. His work spans from proactive tax planning and identifying savings opportunities—such as credits and incentives—to navigating the complexities of multistate and international tax compliance.
Internally, Kerry leads Aprio’s Manufacturing, Distribution, Technology, and International tax team. His role enables him to stay updated on industry trends, assuring his clients benefit from a cohesive and forward-thinking team.
Experience
He has significant experience advising business owners through key transition points. Kerry has guided numerous clients through successful business sales, including transactions with private equity investors, and helped many others with succession planning and preparing for generational ownership transitions. Kerry is passionate about helping clients maximize value and readiness when it’s time to exit or grow.
He also supports companies in the technology sector and takes pride in leveraging Aprio’s extensive internal resources and subject matter professionals to deliver the best advice possible to his clients.
Education & Affiliations
Kerry earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Bellarmine College in Louisville, Kentucky, and a Master’s of Business Administration from Georgia State University.
