Lock works with all Aprio businesses and clients, partnering with internal and external stakeholders (including clients, vendors, and regulators) to provide guidance and support on cybersecurity best practices, risks, and solutions. His mission is to protect the firm’s data, assets, and reputation, and to empower its people and clients with the tools and knowledge to achieve their goals.
Experience
He provides guidance and oversight in cybersecurity and risk programs and help Aprio partners assure proper security processes are in place so clients can fully trust us with their data. Lock strives to provide new ideas for marketable solutions for the business. He has built security programs from scratch, pivoted clients from cancelling solutions to reimagining their security programs and reduced operating costs by streamlining global compliance and audit* reporting.
Education & Affiliations
Lock earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering from DeVry University and a and Master’s Degree in Information Management from W. P. Carey School of Business – Arizona State University. He is an active member of the FBI’s InfraGard and ACTRA Cyber Security Organizations.
