Melissa is a partner at Aprio, and she is excited about the learning, training, and professional development opportunities this will create for employees. Her industry focus is mid-sized businesses, pass-through entities, professional service entities, manufacturing, distribution and retail entities, family-owned businesses, private client group and individuals. Melissa works closely with her team to assure tax returns are accomplished in a timely fashion and provides a range of compliance and consulting services. Joining Aprio will enable Melissa and her team to be able to provide more than 50 service offerings to clients.

Melissa’s adept skills, combined with her tax proficiency, enable her to stay connected to clients throughout the year by providing a range of accounting, support, and year-end planning services. Her specialties include income taxation, business consulting and planning, mid-sized businesses, pass-through entities and individuals, professional service entities, manufacturing, distribution and retail entities, private client group and closely held and family-owned businesses.
Education & Affiliations
Melissa earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Minor in Business from the University of Oregon and a Post-Baccalaureate in Accounting from Portland State University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants, and is an active volunteer at her daughters’ schools.
