Overview
Nuwandi leads Aprio’s real estate segment across Texas and the Southwest, collaborating with clients across all real estate asset classes, including multifamily, industrial, commercial, mixed-use, and affordable housing. Before joining Aprio, she served as a Partner at a Top 6 accounting firm, where she gained extensive experience leading audit* engagements for clients in the real estate sector. She and her team are focused on sectors that move in tandem with construction and development activity. Nuwandi and her team work alongside you as your first call—growing with you from initial development through acquisition, financing, operations, and compliance.
Experience
Her strength is in real estate audit and advisory, especially when it comes to multifamily housing, LIHTC, HUD compliance, and financial reporting with extensive experience in federal and state low-income housing cost certifications, HUD audits,10% tests, 50% tests, 95/5 tests and cost certifications, as well as other various reporting requirements related to multifamily projects. Nuwandi leads the strategic coordination of audit, tax, and consulting services to deliver integrated solutions for clients. She knows how to pull the right team together, deliver under pressure, and drive results that matter to clients.
Nuwandi makes it a point to stay close to the client and build the right A-team around every engagement, analyzes problems and deliver significant results to grow with them.
Education & Affiliations
Nuwandi earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University and is a licensed CPA in Texas and Colorado. She is also a Founding Advisory Board Member, Women’s Affordable Housing Network (Texas Chapter). Nuwandi has served as a guest speaker and panelist for industry events and podcasts focused on affordable housing and female leadership.
