Overview
Roza began her public accounting career in 2007 with SND Partners LLP. She has a future-forward outlook and strategy with a continuous focus on learning about new regulations and how they affect her clients now and in the long-term. She loves to be a part of the team for her clients and build those long-term relationships, trust, and rapport. Roza is proactive in being available to clients and providing timely responses and supporting them in what they are doing to ensure their success.
Experience
She has been involved primarily with providing services for rental real estate properties that are regulated by state agencies such as CTCAC, HCD, CalHFA, and HHFDC as well as HUD and other federal agencies. Roza works with both nonprofit and for-profit affordable housing developers along with their property management team, asset management team and development project management team.
Roza’s specialties include cost certifications (LIHTC/HUD) with over 100 completed in the last 15 years, LIHTC/HUD compliance and financial audits, and affordable housing financial consulting (15 years exit, syndication, and refinance/re-syndications).
Education & Affiliations
Roza earned a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics degree from University of California. She is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. She has also obtained her Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) designation.
