Overview
Stephanie Malm is a Senior Manager and Proposal Lead at Aprio, supporting tactical growth, strategy advising, BD/Capture, and proposals primarily in the defense and intelligence markets.
Experience
Prior to joining Aprio, Stephanie was a Contracting Officer with the Federal Government with extensive federal acquisition experience in competing priority and high-impact environments. Since returning to industry, Stephanie has led many proposal and capture teams alongside key leaders at companies across federal clients for multi-billion-dollar competitive proposals down to simple sole sources, acting as Proposal Manager, writer, and reviewer. Stephanie leverages her experience with project management, cost and price analysis, and the entire contracts lifecycle to develop capability decks, proposals, whitepapers, and more for both FAR and non-FAR based acquisitions on behalf of clients. This included a breadth of customers, such as NIH, treasury, department of defense agencies, IRS, and the intelligence community. Stephanie has demonstrated work with non-traditional defense contractors, including venture capital or private equity backed, and through non-traditional competitive acquisition processes including BAAs and OTAs.
Education & Affiliations
Stephanie graduated from Virginia Tech with a BA in Business Management. Stephanie holds a Shipley Certification and an Association of Proposal Management Professionals Foundation-level Certification (CF APMP).
