The Aprio Foundation Empowers Nonprofit Organizations Across U.S. with Community Impact Grants

37 Nonprofit Organizations Awarded by the Aprio Foundation in 2023
ATLANTA – Jan. 17, 2024 – The No. 1 Fastest-Growing Accounting Firm in the U.S., Aprio, LLP, is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2023 Community Impact Grants from its charitable arm, The Aprio Foundation. Demonstrating a steadfast commitment to philanthropy, the foundation granted $258,500 to 37 deserving nonprofit organizations in 2023 through three grant cycles. The most recent cycle recognizes the impactful programs and missions of Atlanta Angels, Blue Heron Nature Preserve, C5 Georgia Youth Foundation, Chattahoochee Nature Center, Family Promise of WNY, Living Bridges Ministries, Mary’s Center for Maternal and Child Care, Inc., Open Hand, Sandy Springs Education Force, Surry County Schools Educational Foundation, Waunakee Neighborhood Connection, Corp, and New Apollo Youth Symphony Orchestra.

Atlanta Angels (Georgia) walks alongside children, youth, and families in the foster care community by offering consistent support through intentional giving, relationship building, and mentorship.
Blue Heron Nature Preserve (Georgia) is a nonprofit dedicated to 30 acres of green space in Atlanta, where they create a personal experience with nature through Conservation, Education and the Arts.
C5 Georgia Youth Foundation (Georgia) is dedicated to providing high-potential teens in under-resourced communities with the opportunity to pursue personal success through camps, leadership development, and life preparatory programs.
Chattahoochee Nature Center’s (Georgia) mission is to connect people with nature. For almost 50 years, CNC has inspired both naturalists and citizens to build one of the most unique places on the Chattahoochee River.
Family Promise of WNY (New York) keeps families experiencing homelessness together by offering emergency housing and compassionate support as they work to find their way back home.
Living Bridges Ministries (Georgia) empowers individuals while serving our community by bridging the gap between poverty and prosperity through transformative education and connection to resources.
Mary’s Center for Maternal and Child Care, Inc. (D.C. & Maryland) embraces all communities of all ages, incomes, and backgrounds in the Washington, D.C. metro area and provides high-quality healthcare, education, and social services to build better futures.
Open Hand’s (Georgia) mission is to build a healthier community through people-centered services and partnerships, create access to healthy meals and nutrition education, and empower their clients and the community to achieve personal goals for health and wellness.
Sandy Springs Education Force (Georgia) creates targeted programs that educate, inspire and prepare public school students in Sandy Springs for a competitive world.
Surry County Schools Educational Foundation (North Carolina) was created to improve the educational level of Surry County, enhancing the ability to further education for competition in the global market.
Waunakee Neighborhood Connection, Corp (Wisconsin) is a social service organization that applies a neighbor-to-neighbor approach to supporting the most vulnerable families in our community by providing programs and resources.
New Apollo Youth Symphony Orchestra (California) is dedicated to reshaping music education and giving that opportunity to our young musicians of all backgrounds.
The Aprio Foundation exists to fund and support employee-driven initiatives and nonprofits with a vision to provide opportunities for every Aprio employee to positively impact their local community through values that include inclusion, diversity, and equity, and positive social change to ensure community impact.
