May 13, 2025

May 13, 2025 – Aprio CEO Richard Kopelman and Andy Kvesic, who is the former managing partner of Radix Law and is set to become the CEO of Aprio Legal pending approval by the Arizona Supreme Court’s ABS Committee, were featured in the Atlanta Business Chronicle discussing the launch of Aprio Legal, a significant step in Aprio’s evolution in building the professional services firm of the future.  The combination between Aprio and Radix Law was effective May 1, 2025.

With Arizona paving the way for Alternative Business Structure (ABS) law firms, Aprio Legal is the first full-service ABS law firm in the U.S. to be formed by two separately licensed entities. This innovative model allows non-lawyer ownership and creates opportunities for professional service firms to deliver integrated services across legal, tax, wealth, and business advisory. Aprio Legal is reimagining the client experience by offering entrepreneurs and business owners a single destination to address both legal and business challenges.

Richard described the move as a major milestone in Aprio’s long-term strategy to build the firm of the future. Andy explains that Aprio Legal enhances the firm’s ability to serve clients holistically, stating, “We are constantly brainstorming and figuring out ways to improve the system to benefit our clients — and it led us to this relationship.”
