Carol is a Partner at Aprio’s Restaurant, Franchise & Hospitality Client Advisory Services Team. With a focus on McDonald’s franchise accounting and financial consulting that spans more than 4 decades, Carol provides strategic guidance and solutions tailored to the client’s needs.
Experience
She has extensive knowledge and industry insights into QSR and McDonald’s, working side by side with clients who need help with tax and estate planning, buying or selling a restaurant, succession planning, reinvestment, financing, and other needs. Carol has in-depth knowledge of the requirements and expectations that McDonald’s holds for their franchisees. She is also a frequent speaker at national events for McDonald’s franchisees and the firm’s annual finance meeting.
Education & Affiliations
Carol earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Washburn University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Additionally, Carol is a supplier member of the Women’s Operator Network and serves as an advisor to the NFLA (National Franchise Leadership Association) and the NOA (National Owners’ Association).
