Eric Neas has over ten years of experience working with ventures ranging in size from small startups to businesses with more than $500 million in revenue. He most commonly works with privately held manufacturing and distribution companies. While he offers top-tier compliance services, including audits, reviews, & compilations, Eric’s scope goes far beyond compliance to provide expert advisory services. He is passionate about driving success for his colleagues and clients, striving for excellence in every engagement internally and externally. His role at Aprio allows him to truly advise companies and their owners, offering a fresh perspective on auditing to make the process less burdensome, while also providing insights and solutions.

Eric’s passion is ensuring his clients achieve their full potential. He is well-versed in the technical areas that commonly affect manufacturing, distribution, e-commerce, and professional services companies, including business combinations, revenue recognition, lease accounting, debt, and equity. Going against the grain of the ‘typical’ CPA, he aims to provide a fresh perspective on auditing and always strives to make the process less burdensome for his clients. Eric’s work has directly contributed to significant client achievements, including helping companies save money and build their business, creating transactions that yield direct returns on investment, providing peace of mind with comprehensive knowledge of accounting and advisory matters, and acting as a trusted advisor, always focused on What’s Next.
Education & Affiliations
Eric earned both a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy from Georgia College. He is involved in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. Outside of Aprio, Eric enjoys cheering on the Atlanta Braves, working on home projects, and spending time with his wife & two young boys. He serves on the Finance Committee to the Board of a non-profit, Second Helpings Atlanta – which reduces food waste throughout Atlanta. He also serves on multiple advisory boards, including The Rainmaker Companies, Second Helpings Atlanta, and Next Generation Manufacturing, and is the president of the Whitfield Parc Homeowners’ Association.
