Who I work with
I provide corporate tax planning and compliance solutions to closely held businesses, their owners and their employees with stock options. Most of my clients operate in the service space, specifically law firms and real estate companies. I also help growth-minded businesses navigate multistate tax issues.
My specialty
I specialize in stock option planning; income and franchise tax compliance and planning; and state and local tax (SALT) compliance and planning. Whether it’s assessing the tax implications of hiring employees in different states or finding the right time to exercise stock options, my goal is to explain technical tax issues in a clear, digestible manner. Aside from my work with clients, I also train new Aprio tax team members on tax procedures and best practices.

I pride myself on my ability to provide prompt analysis to help businesses determine the best solutions for their unique circumstances. In the past, I have helped clients maximize savings on the California pass-through entity tax, move out of state to minimize their tax burden and determine strategies for exercising stock options to achieve tax efficiency.
Unique things about me
Travel and running are two of my greatest passions! I have visited over 30 different countries, and I run a half marathon every tax season.
When I am not at work
I love going to local sporting events with my family, traveling (especially to Mexico), taking road trips and attending music festivals.

I earned my Master of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University and my Bachelor of Science degree from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo.
