Who I work with
I work closely with finance, accounting and human resource professionals in for profit and nonprofit organizations of all sizes and in various industries.
My specialty
I specialize in retirement arrangement consulting, compensation and benefits tax compliance, and benefit plan audit technical support. My clients (and team members) appreciate my ability to explain complex tax matters in a way that is easy for them to understand and apply to their specific situation. I often provide this information on an ad hoc basis that creates an excellent and timely customer experience.
Results I have delivered
I have been designing retirement plan arrangements for over 30 years that allow employers and individuals to defer taxable income from the highest corporate and individual rates to lower rates sometime in the future. In addition, I have helped clients in penalty situations achieve penalty reductions in excess of $100,000 with the IRS and 95% reductions with the Department of Labor.
Unique things about me
My wife and I rescued our first greyhound in 2011. We rescued our current greyhound, Gronk, in 2018.
When I am not at work
I am a lifelong sports fan, and I follow all of the major and most of the minor leagues. In particular, I am an avid University of Maryland basketball and Notre Dame football fan, along with the DMV pro teams. I prefer to spend as much of my free time outdoors playing tennis and doing yard work.. I also enjoy spending time with my family, especially my grandchildren who absolutely love their “OG.”
