Mary Beth has more than 20 years of experience serving an extensive range of both public and privately held clients across industries — from government contractors to businesses within the technology sector. She specializes in complex accounting and financial reporting issues, including revenue recognition (ASC 605 and 606), share-based compensation, complex equity and debt financing transactions, business combinations, and related valuation issues
Experience
Mary Beth has managed all phases of assurance engagements, starting with initial planning through the completion of financial statements and reporting findings to management. She has advised and assisted more than 50 clients on implementation and application of the new revenue recognition standard. She also provides ongoing technical and financial reporting assistance, including financial statement preparation to an average of five to six different clients at one time.
Education & Affiliations
Mary Beth earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Purdue University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Treasurer of the Purdue Club of DC Alumni, and a member of the Junior League of Northern Virginia.
