The Aprio Foundation Awards $151,000 in Second Round of 2025 Community Impact Grants

ATLANTA – August 27, 2025 – The Aprio Foundation, the charitable arm of Aprio, the 24th largest business advisory and accounting firm in the U.S., has announced the second round of its 2025 Community Impact Grants, awarding $151,000 to 26 nonprofit organizations across the U.S. These grants continue the Foundation’s mission to strengthen communities by funding programs that create opportunities, promoting access for all, and driving measurable outcomes where Aprio team members live and work.
“This second round of grants is a reflection of the compassion and commitment our Aprio team members bring to their communities every day,” said Michele Blondheim, vice president of corporate social responsibility and executive director of the Aprio Foundation. “Each organization we support is a beacon of hope, whether lifting families, empowering youth, or creating pathways to access and opportunity. These grants are more than financial support; they are a promise that we stand with those driving meaningful change and building stronger communities.”
This round includes funding for both new nonprofit partners and returning organizations, spanning focus areas such as economic empowerment, health and wellness, education, youth development, and career readiness.

Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities (Georgia) provides essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need healthcare. They envision a world where every family has what they need to ensure the best health outcomes for their children.
Blessings in a Backpack (Georgia) mobilizes communities, individuals, and resources to provide food on the weekends for elementary school children across America who might otherwise go hungry.
Bobby Dodd Institute (Georgia) believes in an inclusive world where people of differing abilities can lead more independent and purposeful lives when provided the right guidance, support, and opportunities. They empower people with differing abilities to maximize their potential by securing economic self-sufficiency, independence, and inclusion within their communities.
Chattahoochee Nature Center’s (Georgia) mission is to connect people with nature. For almost 50 years, CNC has inspired both naturalists and citizens to build one of the most unique places on the Chattahoochee River.
City Harvest (New York) is New York’s first and largest food rescue organization, collecting high-quality, nutritious food that would otherwise go to waste to help provide free food for millions of New Yorkers experiencing food insecurity.
CoCo Kids (California) champions and advances quality child care and early education in Contra Costa County. They support children, families, early educators, businesses, and communities by making child care more accessible, sustainable, and affordable.
Communities In Schools (Georgia) is a proven dropout prevention program. Surrounds students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.
Creative Steps (California) believes that every person, including those with developmental disabilities, should have the opportunity to be fully integrated into their community. They recognize the unique potential of every individual and help young adults with disabilities live their best quality of life.
Dunwoody Nature Center (Georgia) inspires the love of nature and cultivates environmental understanding and stewardship by conserving and enhancing Dunwoody Park; educating children, families, and adults of all ages about the natural world and our place in it; and motivating environmental awareness and responsible action.
Financial Women of San Francisco Scholarship Fund (California) advances the success of financial women by providing professional and leadership development, educational support, forums, and networking opportunities. They provide mentorship and scholarships to support the academic goals of future financial leaders pursuing careers in accounting, finance, and related fields.
Girls on the Run South Georgia (Georgia) inspires girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running.
Grant Halliburton Foundation (Texas) strengthens the network of mental health resources for children, teens, and young adults, promoting better mental health and helping to prevent suicide.
High Line Canal Conservancy (Colorado) preserves, protects, and enhances the 71-mile-long Canal in partnership with the public.
Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center (Illinois) is dedicated to preserving the legacy of the Holocaust by honoring the memories of those who were lost and by teaching universal lessons that combat hatred, prejudice, and indifference. They fulfill their mission through the exhibition, preservation, and interpretation of their collections, as well as through education programs and initiatives that promote human rights and work towards the elimination of genocide.
Mothers Trust Foundation (Illinois) provides funding to meet critical needs, including housing stability, education expenses, enrichment and extracurricular opportunities, medical costs, clothing and shoes, and new baby gear for low-income children and youth in Lake County, Illinois.
Nana Grants (Georgia) covers 100% of the cost of child care through graduation for low-income student mothers attending an accredited college or university in Georgia. They support low-income single mothers pursuing post-secondary education while ensuring their children receive the benefits of quality early childhood education.
Our House (Georgia) provides transformative care to end the cycle of homelessness for families.
PENCIL Foundation (Tennessee) links community resources to Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) to help young people achieve academic success and prepare for life. They envision a world where access to and opportunities for all students are equitable, enabling them to have a successful future.
Phoenix Pass (Georgia) serves women with children who are experiencing homelessness or at-risk for homelessness by giving them an opportunity to reestablish self-sufficiency in a residential setting.
Red Hook Initiative (New York) collaborates with youth and adult residents of the NYCHA Red Hook Houses — Brooklyn’s largest public housing development — to implement resident-led solutions to local problems and address systemic inequities in the historically under-resourced neighborhood. They nurture young people to be inspired, resilient, and healthy, and to envision themselves as co-creators of their lives, community, and society.
Second Helpings Atlanta (Georgia) eliminates hunger and food waste in metro Atlanta by rescuing surplus food and delivering it to those in need.
Spruill Center for the Arts (Georgia) fosters creativity and social connections through the arts by offering a diverse visual arts program to students of all ages and skill levels; providing a platform for artists to share their talents through exhibitions, sales, and instructional opportunities; and enriching the community through programs designed to inspire the artist in everyone.
Sunflower Hill (California) creates places and spaces where adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live, work, learn, and thrive as part of the greater community.
Supportive Housing Communities (North Carolina) provide affordable housing to alleviate homelessness and human suffering. They offer a full continuum of housing assistance and supportive services to help individuals experiencing chronic homelessness achieve stability.
The Hope Foundation (Arizona) ensures that every individual and family has access to compassionate, professional mental health support, regardless of financial circumstances. They empower youth, young adults, and parents to overcome life’s challenges by providing financial assistance for therapy and promoting mental health awareness in communities.
Trees Atlanta’s (Georgia) mission is to protect and improve Atlanta’s urban forest by planting, conserving, and educating.
Since 2022, the Aprio Foundation has supported 78nonprofit organizations nationwide, leveraging employee-nominated funding to connect purpose with action and drive lasting community impact.
