The Aprio Foundation Closes 2024 with New Grants to Fuel Local and National Impact

ATLANTA – Dec. 19, 2024 – The Aprio Foundation, the charitable arm of Aprio, a leading business advisory and accounting firm, is proud to announce the recipients of its final grant cycle for 2024. Demonstrating a continued commitment to making a difference, the Foundation awarded $87,500 in grants to 13 nonprofit organizations across the country. These grants will empower organizations to advance education, entrepreneurship, environmental stewardship, and economic stability in communities where Aprio team members live and work.

This grant cycle welcomes new partnerships with exemplary nonprofits and continued support for impactful programs aligning with the Foundation’s vision.
100 Black Men of Atlanta (Georgia) improves the quality of life by supporting and enhancing educational and economic opportunities, particularly for African-American youth in the Atlanta community.
Alcovy CASA’s (Georgia) mission is to provide a powerful voice for children in foster care by recruiting, training, and supporting caring volunteers who advocate for their needs and rights.
Backpack Buddies of Metro Atlanta (Georgia) provides weekend meals to food-insecure children in Metro Atlanta to enhance their mental and physical health and learning ability.
C5 Georgia Youth Foundation (Georgia) aims to change the odds of success for high-potential teens from under-resourced communities by inspiring them to pursue personal success while preparing them for leadership roles in college, work and their communities.
Family Promise of Western New York (New York) keeps families experiencing homelessness together by offering emergency housing and compassionate support as they work to find their way back home.
GROW North Texas (Texas) connects North Texans to food, farms and community to create a sustainable, secure regional food system that enriches the land, encourages economic opportunity through food and agriculture, and provides equitable access to healthy, nutritious food for all residents.
Mary’s Center (Maryland and The District of Colombia) embraces all communities and provides high-quality healthcare, education, and social services to build better futures.
Open Hand (Georgia) seeks to eliminate disability and untimely death due to nutrition-sensitive chronic disease by serving the community and empowering people to live healthier, more productive lives.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Triangle’s (North Carolina) mission is to provide essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need healthcare. Its vision is a world where all children have access to medical care, and their families are supported and actively involved in their children’s care.
Sandy Springs Education Foundation (Georgia) designs and implements free supplemental programs to engage, support and encourage our economically disadvantaged public school students to excel academically, finish high school, and then continue to a vocation or college.
SHARE Charlotte (North Carolina) is building a better Charlotte by empowering nonprofits and helping people invest in their communities in ways that matter most to them.
Transformations by Atlanta Angels’(Georgia) mission is to walk alongside children, youth and families in the foster care community by offering consistent support through intentional giving, relationship building, and mentorship.
Turning Point Breast Cancer Rehabilitation (Georgia) improves the quality of life for individuals impacted by breast cancer by providing and advocating for specialized, evidence-based rehabilitation while reducing socioeconomic, racial, cultural and geographic barriers to care.
Since its inception in 2016, the Aprio Foundation has been a catalyst for positive social change, supporting a diverse range of local and national nonprofits through financial contributions, volunteer-driven initiatives, and in-kind donations. In 2024, the Foundation awarded 42 Community Impact Grants totaling $284,500 to nonprofit organizations dedicated to education, economic empowerment, and sustainable solutions for underserved communities.
