Leslie is the organized intelligence behind Aprio’s Learning & Development department. With over 30 years of experience in both public accounting and private industry, her knowledge and skill are an integral part of Aprio’s success.

Leslie’s primary focus is executing on the vision and strategy for professional development, incorporating curriculum-based learning. Prior to Learning & Development, Leslie played an instrumental role in implementing electronic invoicing and statements, as well as developing numerous practice management and budgeting tools within the firm’s time and billing platform. She was the backbone of the firm, providing the necessary support and tools for the firm to be successful in the areas of practice management, billing and collections.

In her 30 years of experience, Leslie has 10 years specializing in audit, tax and accounting in the banking, brokerage, distribution and manufacturing industries. Prior to joining Aprio, Leslie served as a partner and chief operating officer of Tauber & Balser, P.C., and was responsible for the financial management and daily operations of the firm, including human resources, information technology, marketing, recruiting, facilities management, budgeting, billing and collections, firm accounting, risk management and all administrative functions. Tauber & Balser, P.C., shareholders and staff joined Aprio in 2008.

Leslie earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Public Accounting from Hofstra University, New York. Her professional affiliations and achievements include:
