Who I work with

I advise growing real estate businesses, specifically in the affordable housing industry. I help affordable housing CFOs, presidents and controllers of development firms and property management corporations develop and implement growth strategies and navigate auditing requirements of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

My specialty

I have 30+ years of experience in accounting and auditing of commercial real estate projects, real estate funds and affordable housing projects. I provide strategic business planning and consulting to help increase property equity and profitability. As the Managing Director of Aprio’s Birmingham office, I manage client relationships and direct Aprio team members to ensure the accuracy and quality of audit deliverables within tight timelines.

I am an avid golfer, and I enjoy spending the day on the links with friends, family members, colleagues and clients. I often wonder if my love of golf has anything to do with my passion for successfully navigating real estate challenges.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends at our beach house in the Florida Panhandle.
