I work with high-net-worth individuals and their families, corporate executives and business owners.
My specialty
I specialize in individual income tax, trust income tax and estate and gift tax. I work closely with clients and their investment and legal advisors to plan and implement strategies designed to effectively achieve financial and estate planning objectives. I also help integrate financial plans with sound tax guidance in the areas of retirement and estate planning, risk management and investment planning.
Results I have delivered
- I uncovered over $450,000 in state refunds resulting from state income tax credits reciprocity rules overlooked by a prior service provider.
- I uncovered over $1 million of erroneously reported short-term capital gains associated with RSUs and the disposition of ISOs resulting in combined (federal and state) tax savings of $500,000.
- I uncovered over $750,000 in errors in the installment sale reporting by a prior service provider, resulting in amended filings and combined (federal and state) tax refunds of over $225,000.
Unique things about me
I am fascinated with Nordic culture and enjoy traveling through the region. In 2019, I went on a snowmobile tour of the largest glacier in Europe, Vatnajökull!
When I am not at work
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my little girls, Veronica and Lilia, and pulling all-nighters creating balloon arches the night before their birthday parties.
