Emily has more than 15 years of experience serving companies and their employee benefits plans with net assets ranging from $1 million to $610 million. She specializes in auditing* 401(k), health and welfare, and employee stock option plans across multiple industries. Emily’s expertise includes Service Contract Act (SCA) contributions, as well as ERISA and U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) compliance.
Experience
Emily has deep experience helping plan sponsors comply with their plan documents and DOL regulations. She works closely with sponsors to get ahead of non-compliance issues, calculate any corrections to rectify compliance issues, and improve internal procedures and controls. She advocates for clients to receive the benefits they are entitled to under their plan documents while helping them maximizing their personal retirement savings.
Education & Affiliations
Emily earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Delaware. She is a licensed certified public accountant (CPA) in Maryland, and her professional affiliations include membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
