Kellie Sanna, CPA
Audit Director | I help affordable housing organizations, including for-profit and nonprofit developers, syndicators and investors maximize state and federal tax credits.
Who I work with
I work with CFOs, controllers and presidents of affordable housing organizations, for-profit and nonprofit developers, syndicators and investors to meet the audit requirements of market rate and affordable housing projects, including those that are subject to the auditing requirements of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
My specialty
I specialize in audits, reviews, cost certifications for HUD and LIHTC deals, and accounting and auditing of real estate funds. In addition to helping clients maximize state and federal tax credits, I ensure deadlines are met to maintain compliance with investors and syndicators. Over the course of my career, I have assisted with more than 1,500 audits. I enjoy leading and mentoring real estate team members, who are located around the globe.
Unique things about me
I am a foodie who loves to travel. For the past ten years, each Memorial Day my husband and I travel to see a Major League Baseball (MLB) stadium and eat our way through the city!
When I am not at work
I enjoy yoga, running and spending time with my husband, two children and our dog, Aubie.
People say I am
Detail oriented, results-driven and a straight shooter.
