
Overview
Kellie has over 15 years of experience providing audit* services to clients in the affordable housing sector. She works with CFOs, controllers, and presidents of affordable housing organizations, for-profit and nonprofit developers, syndicators, and investors to meet the audit requirements of market rate and affordable housing projects, including those that are subject to the auditing requirements of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Experience
Kellie specializes in audits, reviews, and cost certifications for HUD and LIHTC deals, as well as accounting and auditing of real estate funds. In addition to helping clients maximize state and federal tax credits, she ensures deadlines are met to maintain compliance with investors and syndicators. Over the course of her career, Kellie has assisted with more than 1,500 audits. She leads and mentors real estate team members from across the globe.
Education & Affiliations
Kellie has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting from Auburn University. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the AICPA, GSCPA, Georgia Affordable Housing Coalition, and the Women in Affordable Housing Network (WAHN).
