Who I work with
I work with the owners of closely held businesses, plan administrators and trustees of employee benefit plans with more than 100 participants.
My specialty
I specialize in compilations, reviews, audits and other assurance services, employee benefit plan audits and accounting and business consulting.
Results I have delivered
In the last several years I’ve developed and grown our CAAS (outsourced accounting) team, helped implement our XCM workflow software, assisted numerous clients with acquiring PPP loans and getting those PPP loans forgiven, as well as taking on whichever HR or consulting tasks that the firm and our clients needed.
Unique things about me
I am first generation Portuguese-American. My parents were born and raised in the Acores Islands, and I grew up dancing in Portuguese folklore groups for 16 years.
When I am not at work
If I’m not working I love spending time with my husband, my two daughters and my cat. I travel to Portugal often to see my family (and get some amazing port wine). In the fall, I also like to bake using the apples from the tree in our backyard.

I earned Bachelor’s in Accounting from California State University, East Bay. I’m a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of California, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the California Society of CPAs (CalCPA) and a member of the California State Board of Accountancy.
