Who I work with
I work with CEOs and CFOs of government contractors with revenues of $5M to $500M who provide professional services, systems integration and manufacturing. My clients normally have complex equity structures and/or private equity backing and are looking to grow through mergers and acquisitions.
My specialty
My specialties include auditing government contractors, complex equity (e.g., common, preferred, options, synthetic equity, appreciation rights, etc.), mergers and acquisitions and related purchase accounting.
Results I have delivered
Since returning to us from a big four accounting firm in 2014 for an audit, a client has saved at least $400,000 annually on their audit fee while being treated as a top priority client at all times.
I have helped specific clients be aware of and realize payroll tax refunds under the ERTC program ranging from $100,000 to $1.4M.
Unique things about me
Our family has always been animal lovers, no more so than now, as our oldest will be graduating in May 2023 with a degree in animal science. Our collection of animals currently stands at one husky/lab mix, one bearded dragon, two rabbits, two guinea pigs and a few marine fish.
Since 2001 I have run three marathons, 16+ half marathons and one 200-mile Ragnar relay! I run so I can enjoy wine and baked goods.
When I am not at work
My current hobby is wine, and I am striving to become an accomplished wine snob. My current favorite wine region is eastern Washington and specifically Walla Walla. We also enjoy traveling, with Europe as our favorite destination, especially Paris and Switzerland. I enjoy tinkering on anything with wheels, baking, gardening, reading and watching movies.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland College Park and a Master of Business Administration from Loyola University of Maryland. I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). I am a member of MACPA and AICPA.
