The IRS provides additional day to file and pay 2017 taxes following system issues

The IRS announced on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 that it was providing taxpayers with an additional day to file and pay their taxes after encountering system issues. Individuals and businesses that had a filing or payment due on April 17, 2018 now have until midnight on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 to make payment.
