Business Valuation Partner Tony Alfonso Joins Aprio to Lead Expansion in Phoenix

Tony, who joins the Business Valuation Team as a partner, brings over 25 years of experience to Aprio, serving Private Equity, corporate clients and attorneys with strategic business valuation solutions.

With an extensive background serving as an investment banker and equity trader in key leadership capacities in valuation and capital market analysis at national and international firms, Tony is uniquely positioned to advance Aprio’s growth in the Southwest region of the U.S.

With a strong background in valuing companies, assets, and capital structures, Tony brings experience from various areas, including M&A advisory, private equity, value creation, financial advisory, and engagements involving predictive modeling and data analytics. Additionally, Tony has experience providing expert witness testimony on valuation matters in numerous jurisdictions.

Tony, an active member of the Phoenix community, serves as a board member of the Fresh Start Women’s Foundation and Maricopa Community Colleges Foundation. He is also a member of the Arizona Humane Society’s Finance Committee. Tony earned a Bachelor of Science in Financial Planning and Counseling from Purdue University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business.
