On Nov. 28, 2016, a new regulation became effective for individuals and entities seeking or with access to the Limited Access Death Master File (LADMF). The final rule by the U.S. Department of Commerce’s National Technical Information Service (NTIS) mandates those seeking access must have a legitimate fraud prevention interest or legal, regulatory or fiduciary purpose for access. But more importantly, they must be LADMF certified.
Aprio is an ACAB with deep experience testing the related controls and systems required for LADMF certification. We leverage a harmonized methodology that utilizes accepted security protocols including ISO 27001 and SOC 2 to make certification easier to achieve and maintain. Our mission is to help our clients improve their risk management programs while delivering higher quality reports with less business disruption.
