Shay Eubanks, CPA
SALT and tax credit advisor | Serving technology and manufacturing business leaders | Project management expert

Who I work with
I work extensively with business owners and financial executives of middle-market to market-leading technology and manufacturing businesses. I lead a passionate team of 20+ business advisory and tax professionals, who help clients navigate federal state and local tax (SALT) compliance to mitigate risks and leverage tax credits to maximize cash flow and profitability.
My specialty
For more than 40 years, I have served as a financial steward and an advisor to successful individuals and their businesses, providing business and individual income tax planning strategies. My mediator training helps me clearly communicate complex financial concepts and deal points in diverse settings. I use scenario planning to help clients understand the tax consequences of life and business moves so they can make better decisions with confidence.

Results I have delivered
Aprio clients and team members count on my technical expertise, project management leadership and rapid staff deployment to deliver results. We saved two clients approximately $340,000 each by simply converting their books and records from accrual to cash.
Unique things about me
I used to play nonprofessional baseball for several years as a second and third baseman, which has now translated into a passion for staying active and in shape. Prior to having our two daughters, my wife and I traveled through most of the Caribbean.

When I am not at work
I enjoy reading for pleasure, and I can’t resist a good crossword puzzle. I also enjoy spending time with my family, engaging in backyard pickleball tournaments. We love to travel whenever we can.
