Who I work with
I advise closely held manufacturing and distribution companies with revenues of $10+ million looking to improve business and personal financial performance. I also counsel not-for-profit organizations working to improve the lives of families in our communities.
My specialty
I provide creative, practical solutions to overcome the challenges of running a business. Spending three years as the VP Finance for a winery, enables me to offer manufacturing and distribution clients real world insights on growing profit. I have helped businesses and their owners achieve positive outcomes from start-up to exit. Relationship-driven, I prioritize client questions and opportunities to connect with other Aprio advisors and resources that can help advance their businesses.
Results I have delivered
Before joining Aprio I served as President of the accounting firm RINA. In this role I worked with our leadership team to overcome many of the challenges business owners face. Together we grew the firm to 90 team members and nurtured the successful careers of our staff. From obtaining funding to structuring M&A transactions and more, I am passionate about helping clients succeed.
Unique things about me
I organized 1,000 volunteers and raised funds to build Castle Park in Folsom, CA that is based on the infamous prison’s guard towers.
When I am not at work
I enjoy traveling the world and experiencing different cultures. I also enjoy musical theater and sports and look forward to the day Cal goes to the Rose Bowl!
Affiliations
I earned a master’s degree in Finance with an emphasis in Tax from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from U.C. Berkeley. I am a licensed CPA in the states of California and Washington and serve my community as an advisor to the NFP organization, Mom Relaunch. Additionally, I’m a member of the Alliance of CEOs, an Executive Committee member for MGI North America and a past Chairman for MGI Worldwide.
