
Overview
Dmitri has more than 20 years of public accounting, tax advisory, and compliance experience with emphasis on corporate/tax governance and financial and regulatory reporting. He works with both public and private companies (including closely held businesses and start-ups) with revenues between $1 million–$100 billion in the blockchain and digital assets, technology, finance, renewable energy, financial services, and life sciences industries.
Experience
Dmitri has extensive experience in navigating ASC 740/IAS 12, income taxes, business taxation, tax structuring, and tax controversies. He helps pre-IPO companies and start-ups build better global governance and optimize their tax structures and controls with applicable tax advisory, financial reporting, and strategic planning solutions. Working closely with a wide range of stakeholders — including attorneys, investment bankers, and C-suite leaders — Dmitri applies innovative thinking and a deep understanding of the tax environment to help his clients manage tax risks and identify tax opportunities.
Education & Affiliations
Dmitri earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an Accounting concentration from Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, California. In addition to being a licensed CPA in the state of California, Dmitri is a committee member of the Internal Revenue Service Electronic Tax Administration Advisory Committee (ETAAC). The ETAAC was established by Congress through the IRS Restructuring and Reform Act of 1998 to provide continuing public input into the development and implementation of the IRS’s organizational strategy for electronic tax administration.
