Overview

Vladimir works with small to midsized business owners; self-employed individuals; foreign and US nationals and foreign/domestic entities who are dealing with cross border transactions and have US tax implications. He partners with clients to simplify international tax planning and compliance so they can cross new boarders with confidence.

Experience

Vladimir’s specialties include international tax planning and compliance, judicial accounting and deferred taxes. He is passionate about learning new facets of the art of accounting and researching international tax law. In his daily role he supervises and mentors younger Aprio team members, works on special projects and is constantly looking for new ways to develop Aprio’s tax practice.

He believes in being proactive and responding quickly to client needs. He genuinely cares about clients as a person and wants to provide the tools and expertise needed to achieve business goals. Vladimir is outcome driven and loves delivering results. He recently helped a client with a business in Northern Ireland defer $3.4 million of GILTI (Global Intangible Low Taxed Income) by making an IRC Sec 962 election.

Education & Affiliations

Vladimir is a member of BNI Chapter 15 in NYC, and he enjoys networking and meeting like-minded individuals interested in business development and growing their professional skills and networks. When he is not at work, Vladimir enjoys spending time with his wife and children and playing soccer. His professional affiliations include:
