Susan works across Aprio to build great leaders and help team members realize their full potential. Susan values providing talent with opportunities to grow, and it’s important to her that the people she serves know they can count on her to support that growth.

She approaches her work by balancing strong results orientation with an equal emphasis on building relationships. Susan and her team’s work in Learning and Development must be closely aligned with Aprio’s strategy and attuned to what the team members are looking for in their careers. She believes in collaboration and co-creation, and a significant value that drives her work is understanding that her team performs their best when they come together to achieve shared goals.
Before joining Aprio, Susan worked in healthcare, overseeing talent and learning at a major hospital system. A major success of hers in that role was improving employee retention through the design and staffing of a Career Center that encouraged and supported career navigation across the organization.
Education & Affiliations
Susan earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Southern California and an M.A. in Educational Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
