Allen has four decades of experience in the financial services industry. Despite this extensive experience, he still displays the exuberance and passion of someone who is just starting their professional career. Allen loves helping his clients analyze problems, and those hard-earned recognitions contribute to his ability to apply a more holistic strategic vision to helping clients reach their goals.
Experience
His specialties include business and family financial planning, ranging from helping accelerate client revenue growth to succession and estate planning, and assisting companies in all their business life cycle stages. Allen co-founded Kutchins, Robbins & Diamond, Ltd. and molded the firm’s philosophy, “Helping our clients achieve financial success through sound advice.”
Education & Affiliations
Allen earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola University and a Masters in Taxation at DePaul University. He has participated for many years in TMA, one of the leading Midwest manufacturing associations, the Illinois Venture Capital Association, and the Hispanic American Construction Industry Association. Allen’s professional recognitions and affiliations include Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP), Personal Financial Specialist, Chartered Financial Consultant®, Chartered Life Underwriter®, Certified Turnaround Professional, and Certified Hospitality Account Executive. As a securities professional, he passed FINRA exam series 63 and 65, and has licenses in Illinois life, accident, and health and business and loan brokerage.
Allen is passionate about giving back to the community and is involved in the following organizations: DePaul University Coleman Entrepreneurship Center, Foundation for Culinary Arts, Save Abandoned Babies Foundation, Rebecca Kutchins Fund, La Rabida Children’s Hospital, Camp Kids Are Kids Chicago and Alexander Graham Bell Montessori School.
