Overview
Dasha has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting. She serves as a Partner in Aprio’s Commercial Real Estate practice, collaborating with clients involved in midsize commercial real estate, construction, real estate investment, and other businesses engaged in commercial real estate activities.
Experience
She has deep experience in the financial statement audit*, integrated audit, and risk advisory services. Dasha is well-versed in driving business growth through strategic relationship building and effective use of technology and offshore resources. She has in-depth knowledge of the U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and OMB Circular Uniform Guidance. Dasha’s specializations include real estate construction, student housing, multi-housing, commercial office buildings, and real estate investments. She has a proven track record in leading financial audits for real estate funds, not-for-profit, higher education institutions, and industrial manufacturing organizations.
Prior to joining Aprio, Dasha worked at a Big 4 firm for 18 years, where she built her professional career starting as an Associate and eventually becoming a Partner. She shares that it’s fulfilling to see the dedication and hard work paid off, from starting as an intern and advancing to the partnership.
Education & Affiliations
Dasha earned a BBA in Accounting and a master’s degree in accountancy, Auditing and Auditing Information Systems at The University of Georgia. She is Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the State of Georgia and a member of the AICPA & Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. Dasha’s other professional affiliations include Board Member of the UGA Terry College of Business Alumni Board and D&I Committee Chair, Board Member Alumna and Finance Committee Chair of Synchronicity Theatre and Keris Kares, Inc.
