Who I work with
I assist multinational companies — from small businesses to midsize organizations to Fortune 500 companies — that are interested in moving their top talent both into and outside of the United States. As a native Korean speaker, many of my clients include Korea-based companies that are looking to set up subsidiaries in the U.S., as well as U.S.-based companies that are looking to expand into Korea.
My specialty
I have more than 14 years of experience specializing in international and domestic relocation tax planning, tax and payroll compliance, and relocation policy development. Specifically, I provide advice to remote employees and assist companies in developing a multifunctional approach to compliance and risk mitigation. I also work closely with human resources, corporate tax specialists, and payroll and finance/accounting teams to find comprehensive solutions to issues arising from global or domestic relocations.
Unique things about me
I am an avid swimmer and was even on the varsity swim team in school. In 2017, I completed my first triathlon, though it will likely be my last — I’m much more at home inside the confines of a pool over open water!
When I am not at work
Outside of the office, you can find me spending time with my family, playing golf or traveling.
