Mark works with small to mid-sized technology companies and startups with 25-100 employees. Passionate about delivering results, Mark plays an active role in helping his clients accelerate growth and achieve business goals. When he isn’t working with clients, Mark is educating and mentoring Aprio staff members or networking with technology professionals, venture capital firms, and private equity investors.
Experience
With over two decades of public accounting experience, Mark specializes in corporate and individual income tax planning and consulting. From selecting the right entity structure for new businesses to leveraging R&D tax credits to enhance profitability and fund innovation, Mark enjoys educating clients about tax opportunities that can drive growth. Mark is passionate about delivering results. Most recently, he helped a client receive a $20K refund on their state taxes by finding mistakes that were overlooked by their ex-CPA in their previous year’s return.
Education & Affiliations
Mark earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Old Westbury. Mark is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).
