Who I work with
I work with CFOs, controllers, accounting and financial reporting managers of for-profit entities. I work with clients primarily within the government contracting industry and technology sector that require augmented technical expertise for complex accounting and reporting matters.
My specialty
I have expertise in accounting for business combinations, complex revenue recognition, share-based compensation, and complex equity and debt financing arrangements for small to mid-sized companies. I also serve as a subject matter expert and hands-on technical advisor for complex accounting and financial reporting issues including revenue recognition, share-based compensation, equity and debt financing transactions, business combinations and related financial reporting.
Results I have delivered
I advised and assisted more than 50 clients on the implementation and application of the new revenue recognition standard. I also provide ongoing technical expertise and financial reporting assistance, including preparation of financial statements in some cases, to, on average of five-to-six different clients at any given time.
Unique things about me
I really enjoy traveling, particularly when I’m able to combine international travel with scuba diving trips. As a result, I have been diving off the coast of Egypt in the Red Sea and off the coast of Australia on the Great Barrier Reef. I have also been to the Blue Hole off the coast of Belize where I went on my deepest dive of approximately 140 feet.
When I am not at work
I enjoy relaxing by reading, drawing and painting but have little downtime right now with an eight-year-old active boy. Because of him, my husband and I keep active ourselves by doing as much as possible outdoors including snow skiing and ice skating in the winter, and hiking, golfing, boating and swimming in the summer.

I earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Purdue University. I am also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Treasurer of the Purdue Club of DC Alumni, and a member of the Junior League of Northern Virginia.
