The Aprio Foundation Awards $125,000 to Drive Community Impact Nationwide

ATLANTA – June 11, 2025The Aprio Foundation, the charitable arm of Aprio, the 24th largest business advisory and accounting firm in the U.S., has announced the first round of its 2025 Community Impact Grants, awarding $125,000 to 19 nonprofit organizations across the country. The grants reflect the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to strengthening communities by funding programs that create opportunity and drive meaningful outcomes where Aprio team members live and work.

“Our 2025 grantees are tackling urgent needs with creativity, compassion, and impact—from education and advocacy to violence prevention, disability support, and economic mobility,” said Michele Blondheim, vice president of corporate social responsibility and executive director of the Aprio Foundation. “These grants represent our team members’ passion for giving back and our shared belief in investing in community-driven solutions.”

This grant cycle includes support for eight new nonprofit partners and continued investment in 11 returning organizations, spanning areas such as education, economic empowerment, youth development, health and wellness, and career advancement.

Grantees include:

411 Kids Foundation (Alabama) provides personal development, volunteer opportunities, and educational resources to support and uplift local children.

Atlanta Victim Assistance, Inc. (Georgia) supports victims of crime and their families through trauma-informed services, legal advocacy, and youth intervention programs.

Bergen County CASA (New Jersey) advocates for the best interests of children removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect, helping ensure safe, permanent placements.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta (Georgia) creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.

Blue Heron Nature Preserve (Georgia) connects people with nature through education, conservation, and the arts, with a focus on underserved students.

Creating Connected Communities (Georgia) empowers teens to become engaged community leaders by delivering life-enhancing programs to children and families experiencing hardship.

Down Syndrome Association of South Texas (Texas) provides lifelong services, education, and support to individuals with Down syndrome and their families.

Jewish Family & Career ServicesBen Massell Dental Clinic (Georgia) transforms lives through compassionate health and human services, including free dental care for underserved populations.

New Apollo Youth Symphony Orchestra (Georgia) expands access to music education by building an inclusive, diverse youth orchestra for students from all backgrounds.

Next Generation Men & Women, Inc. (Georgia) prepares students from under-resourced communities for college and career success through exposure, mentorship, and support.

North Fulton Community Charities (Georgia) helps families achieve financial stability through emergency assistance, food programs, education, and workforce development.

Robert W. Woodruff Arts Center (Georgia) promotes arts education and access to creative experiences for diverse audiences through performance and learning initiatives.

Room In The Inn (Tennessee) provides meals, shelter, and long-term support for individuals experiencing homelessness, grounded in community and dignity.

Special Olympics Illinois (Illinois) offers year-round sports training and athletic competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities, promoting inclusion and empowerment.

The Arc of Bergen and Passaic Counties (New Jersey) enhances the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through advocacy, education, and support services.

The Arc of San Antonio (Texas) delivers essential services, education, and care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their caregivers.

The Community FoodBank of New Jersey (New Jersey) fights hunger and its root causes by providing food, help, and hope to communities in need.

The Haven (Georgia) supports survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking with emergency shelter, advocacy, and trauma-informed care.

The HOPE Program (New York) empowers low-income New Yorkers with job training, career advancement, and long-term support for sustainable employment.

Since 2022, the Aprio Foundation has supported 70 nonprofit organizations, leveraging employee-nominated funding to connect purpose with action and drive community impact. These grants are part of a broader giving strategy that includes team member volunteerism, in-kind donations, and long-term nonprofit partnerships.
